After reading about the explorers, tell a bit about one who sticks out in your mind more than the others. Why does he stand out? What are some attributes that you believe are needed to be an explorer?
When I was looking around to find an explorer i had found De Soto. He was a great explorer because he went in a war and that shows that he was really brave. I think to be an explorer, you need to be strong and courages, just like De Soto.

Columbus, I think Columbus was very brave because he was a Sailor. You have to be very brave to be a Sailor. Columbus was really smart with ships

I think christoopher Culumbos is really cool because all the things he found and he is a good explorer.I think a good explorer should be willing to do things that is adventures.And the most important thing is that they should be willing to seek more tresures.

The one that got me the most was De Soto because he sail Florida and found gold. He was in the army.

I really liked the story of Hernando de Soto.I think you have to be a very brave person to be such an explorer like Hernando because ha was the first spanish person to see the missisipy river, and wanted to find the 7 gold cities.

I didnt get the chance to finish I only read one so im really sorry. I think a good explorer should be positive, strong, smart and to never give up also I think they have to be a good leader to be a explorer and they have to know what they are doing before they go or else there get in a horible sistuation. Thats what I think a good explorer should be to be one.:)
