Google Earth
Google Earth is a free virtual geographic program which can be used as an educational tool to enhance lessons in the classroom. Use it to create geographic tours and literature trips. Geographic tours can cover historical events, places, geographic features and details as well as organize and present information regarding current events. Geographic Literature Trips allow students to follow a timeline and visualize a story’s settings and allows for a unique way to introduce and provide information regarding the historical, biographical, cultural, or geographical connections within the story.
